World Book Day 2022
To celebrate World Book Day, the staff and children at Manor Field dressed up as characters from their favourite books. To see all the wonderful costumes and what we got up to, please click on the following link: Manor Field World Book Day 2022.
They also took part in their yearly challenge - 'Get Caught Reading'.
They have been caught in some unusual places reading books so take a look at the slideshow below!
To support the children to continue to develop their reading skills whilst they are at home they can access Accelerated Reader to complete quizzes on the books that they have read. This programme provides a great motivation for the children to maintain their reading and it will also continue to consolidate their retrieval comprehension skills.

You must use the above web address, as this is the school's hosted site. You cannot access it through a Google search. The children can search on the Accelerated Reader Bookfinder website (www.arbookfind.co.uk) to discover books that they might like to read at home.

World Book Day
The World Book Day website also has a wide variety of FREE audiobooks, which your child can listen to at home. These include animal stories, humorous texts, adventure tales, sports stories – and even a book that provides mindfulness exercises! Here is the link for where you can find these exciting texts:
