Thought-full
Who are Thought-full?
Thought-full are a team of professionals who support the senior mental health lead (SMHL) in each education setting to introduce or develop a whole school approach to mental health and emotional wellbeing. Thought-full have worked alongside Manor Field since January 2022, delivering one to one evidence-based interventions to children for mild to moderate mental health issues such as anxiety and depression.
What can Thought-full help with?
The MHST can support children and young people with:
Sleep difficulties related to poor sleep routine, behavioural problems, anxiety-based night-time avoidance behaviours, or problematic thoughts or worries at night
Poor eating patterns or diet affected by and/or affecting mood (Not eating disorders)
Low mood, depression and low self-esteem
Anxiety difficulties including phobias (e.g. animals, vomit, agoraphobia etc.), separation anxiety, social anxiety, school avoidance and excessive worry (Not Obsessive Compulsive Disorder or Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder)
Common behavioural difficulties (ages 4-8 only)
Alongside working with children, Thought-full work closely with parents in helping them support their children at home.
