IOW Year 6 Residential May 2022

Day four update:

After yesterday’s overnight storms, an absolute scorched today. Everyone loved the 3G swing and zip wires today. Evening time relaxing during our movie night.

Home tomorrow, they will be very tired but happy. Please keep your eye on your emails and the school will send out a more accurate arrival time back at school once we are back on the main land.

Day three update:

Had a great day out at Robin Hill adventure park yesterday; watching falconry shows, having peacocks trying to steal our lunch with plenty of rides and attractions to keep us busy all day including a pirate ship ( which some claim to have went on 15 times - the joys of being at an attraction in school time and no queues ) and a 4D cinema experience.

Day two update:

All children slept well in their lodges, the sun is shining this morning. We were up early for our 7am breakfast slot where we were treated to sausages, egg, hash brown and beans.

Today’s activities included bush raft, aero ball, climbing and fencing.

We all went on the culver walk in the early evening with amazing views of the island but got caught by a huge rain shower on the way back. However, we were fortunate enough to see a double rainbow over the beach after the rain stopped.
